Current logical channels:
1. control logical channels
a. BCCH (Broadcast Control Channel): to deliver system information (e.g., cell ID, code sequence, timers, etc)
b. PCCH (Paging Control Channel): to notify incoming calls
c. DCCH (Dedicated Control Channel): to deliver signal information to a specific UE with RRC connection
d. CCCH (Common Control Channel): to deliver signal information to a specific UE without RRC connection
2. traffic logical channels
a. DTCH (Dedicated Traffic Channel): to send user data to a specific UE
b. CTCH (Common Traffic Channel): to send user data to a group of UEs

My suggestion: Logical channel cares about “what info” not about “how to send”
DCCH and CCCH need to be merged I think.
